The Model 054GS is constructed from the patented solid elastic material, Zerdine?(1). Zerdine is a durable, reliable and accurate tissue mimicking material. The Model 054GS background material mimics the acoustic properties of soft tissue. A removable water well and endocavity cover extends the use of the phantom by allowing evaluation of all transducer configurations: linear, curvilinear and intercavity.
