2009/11/5	GoldWEI is proud to announce the release of the new sidestream Low Flow ETCO2 module Model C300. This is an addition to our existing Model C002 which is an OEM embedded type ETCO2 Module that can be integrated into the hosting system. Similar to the LoFlo ETCO2 Module by Respironics, the new sidestream ETCO2 module Model C300 is the ideal low sampling rate capnography solution for monitoring intubated and non-intubated adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. The Sidestream ETCO2 Module is based on our embedded ETCO2 technology and uses sophisticated infrared absorption spectroscopy. It measures End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide (ETCO2) and respiration rate, at a new low sample rate of 50 ml/minute. ¡¡ The Sidestream ETCO2 module Model NM-C300 (PN: MONM-C300) newly released by our factory can be used on both intubated and non-intubated subjects, this sidestream module is easy to implement. Different from our embedded type ETCO2 module Model C002, which usually takes a long time to evaluate whether it is going to integrated with the host system, the sidestream model C300 can be implemented simply as plug & play. While the comparable product LoFlo Sidestream ETCO2 module by Respironics is priced at $700-800, our module can be sold at a much lower price.
